Walk with Caskey Real Estate Group to benefit children’s education this Sunday, October 30th, at the 14th annual Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk!
Enjoy a fun-filled community event with a quick jaunt from the Manhattan Beach Pier to Hermosa Pier and back. Get a little exercise while supporting and investing in the local youth. Since its impetus in 2009, the Friendship Walk has raised millions of dollars to support the Friendship Foundation and public education foundations.
Proceeds go to funding The Friendship Foundation and other city-based and privately funded education foundations throughout the South Bay. With a $2.5M goal, the Skechers Friendship Walk has the potential to foster BIG change.
The Friendship Foundation assists children with disabilities and their families through one-on-one peer mentoring and social recreational activities such as summer camps, sporting events, and various classes, including music, yoga, cooking, art, and drama.
The money raised for public education foundations helps retain vital academic programs, maintain smaller classrooms, improve libraries, and upgrade school technology. The Walk also funds the Skechers Foundation’s annual national scholarship program, which donated more than 50 scholarships to deserving students across the country in 2022.
